About Bria

Bria Lyon is a writer, a Personal Trainer, and Mom to two wildly amazing, strong women and their partners. A Yaya to two inspiring grandbabies, she loves to spend time outdoors with them, and learn about animals, nature, and science with the help of National Geographic. A product of the 60’s, Bria loves everything 70’s, especially the music, and she fancy’s herself a rock star at times. She thinks pizza is the perfect food and that Jaime Sommers is her spirit animal. Bria has an unhealthy obsession with adaptogenic mushrooms, cashew based frozen desserts, dark chocolate and black tea.

A native of Ontario Canada, Bria loves spending time hiking, canoeing, camping and cross-country skiing. She spent many challenging years writing environmental briefings for government, but at night embraced her passion to learn about health, fitness, nutrition and finance, distilling it into bite-sized pieces that she used to meet health and family goals on a tight budget. Bria’s inspiration for wellness and overcoming adversity comes from defeating cancer twice, once in childhood and once while pregnant with her second daughter. Cancer free for 18 years, she attributes her continued strong wellbeing to prioritizing a holistic approach to her health and to her spiritual priorities.
